from 58 reviewsthe light is great so far, i dont love the style of push button switch as it will occasionally turn on in my pocket but not a huge issue.

I purchased this shirt today at an expo in Birmingham. The fit and quality was fantastic! They run true to size, and offer a lot of features I’m excited to use for my upcoming adventures.

I have been an EDC kind of guy for years, I started with a Streamlight MicroStream, and after about 4 years I wanted something brighter and longer lasting which then landed me to the Streamlight MacroStream which I have been carrying for around 2 years. Last year at the Minnesota State Fair I came across the Turtle Creek booth and of course couldn't help but wander over. Fast forward a year and I pulled the trigger to get the Castor. Off the bat compared to the Streamlight MacroStream, brightness of the Castor on Max is comparable but definitely shy on distance and acts more flood like giving more light in front of you and around you. The Castor fits WAY better on my pocket as an EDC and I am super happy about that. The clip even protrudes less, and also doesn't stick up out of my pocket as much, with it being shorter OAH too it runs into other items in my pockets less as well. Now that's about where the comparisons between the two EDC flashlights end, because the Castor to the MacroStream is like a utility knife to a butter knife. The magnet, BALLER and absolutely strong as advertised. Many situations already where I now can be hands free doing stuff and not have my flashlight dangling out of my mouth. The side light, SUPER functional especially in conjuction with the magnet to shine in really any direction needed and works freaking awesome out walking when you put the hat clip then on your belt with the side light on. The hat clip obviously works great on hats too with the front facing light for walking but also with it on your hat can light the hell out of the ground in front of you when switching to the side light! If you have a loose fitting hat the Castor may be pushing the weight a bitjust like my MacroStream did, but I don't have an issue with it because the mass is actually more centralized with where the clip is so it doesn't 'hang' so far off your hat. The laser, SWEET feature being bright and has great distance, with my street lights on at night I can still see the laser down a good two block or so, have not had much pitch black testing. Great too especially when trying to point things out like in an engine bay when trying to show what exactly you are talking about when its buried and hard to describe. The UV light for me is a nice to have and definitely works but not all too powerful when compared to even a cheap UV light I have from AliExpress. Battery life is pretty impressive too, I had a camping trip and use it everyday letting dogs out, working on machines at work etc. and its been a week of use and not dead yet! Construction seems solid, the clip is really stiff and doesn't wiggle out of my pocket. Nice serrated sides for grip, the mode selector slide is very tactile, it has memory so it always turns back on in the brightness setting it was turned off in. She does get pretty toasty in the max front light setting FYI, put your hand in front of it close for long and it will hurt. I have not had it shut off from thermal management yet but it is noticeable, this is a problem with all the high power yet compact design type lights I have. I rarely run the max setting either, and on the high setting I don't notice any real heat and it a great happy medium output for me compared to my MacroStream where that lights low was just too dim the high was just too bright. The locking mode is nice too, but does take a bit to get use to if you choose to use it, not as slick but is great to have something preventing it from accidently turning on. The on buttons position is something to get use to as well being not in the conventional place at the back of the light. I carry other items in my pockets and where the button is on the Castor I do feel the need to lock it just in case. I would like to come back and leave a long term review if possible. Really happy in this first couple weeks of having it and most DEFINTELY a happy camper with my purchase, many other friends I have shown love it too and want one now, the price tag is the only thing that hold many back I feel as it did I. But for us EDC fellers when you break it down to cost/day over lets say 3 years which is my average so far, at full price of $100 (Use their discount codes that can drop this to 20% off) that is 9 cents/day worst case full price which for the amount of use you get and convenience you get with all the different features the Castor has makes this a NO BRAINER switch that I WISH I would have done sooner. Fellers, go get yourself one. **Upload photos in order are 1) Magnet hanging onto light switch cover panel screw with side light on highest power. 2) Pitch dark messy garage with front light on Max. 3) Again same pitch dark messy garage with side light on highest power.**

Well crafted, heavy duty love the telescopic adjustment would be even better if it were rechargeable although, I could use rechargeable batteries if needed. Been showing it off to all my friends !!!

Bought another for my son in law.

It’s bright, easily rechargeable and small.

Been known to take up to 5 flashlights when camping. This flashlight is the best!

Awesome flashlight. Decent battery life. Charges very fast. I've had the battery level low when the light was red and during a 30-minute drive to my next job, it was full. All the features are used daily. I loved them so much, I bought 3 of them and gifted another. Even when I'm in a customers home (I work in the service industry) or at the shop, I get questions about it. The brightness of both flood and throw light can get pretty bright yet most of the time i dont even need the brighter options. Yes the laser pointer isnt crazy strong but its perfect for pointing out objects out of reach. The magnet is no joke either. Its really strong for a flashlight magnet and sticks really well to so many metal surfaces. The double sided pocket clip is awesome. Ive either clipped it to my hat with the throw light or clipped it to my chest pocket with the flood light. If youre questioning buying one, dont worry. You wont be disappointed.

This light is compact, durable, very bright, the lenses are glass and very clear.

Perfect in every way. Fits right in your pocket with great battery life.

Great product. As an inspector, I use this tool everyday.

— JamesGood God, this is a bright a$$ flashlight. It lights up my whole back yard. It clearly illuminates objects at over 200 ft. Super bright in all positions of the sliding beam focus. You will not be disappointed. Buy this light. I have been using it a lot this week to test the 72 hour claimed battery life, and it is still going strong after extended use multiply nights. I am very happy, and will buy 2 more to put in each of my vehicles.
— Colin S.This flashlight worked great when the power went out for us a few weeks ago. It has also made my wife feel very safe while she walks the dog at night. I will warn you that the brightest setting is VERY strong and do not shine in your eyes or your pets please. The dimmer settings and strobe are easy to navigate through and help when trying to look for things while not blinding your helpers.
— Dino B.I love this light. It is very bright and also can zoom in and out. I have many headlights with these features but they all have AA batteries. I haven't used it long but I think it will last a lot longer then the AA ones that I do have now. If you need one light for emergency or some other stuff I think this light will be good because C batteries are readily available here in the U.S. unlike the Chinese rechargeable ones.
— Cynthia M.I'm very impressed with this flashlight. It's a perfect size and very sturdy. It's amazing how powerful the light is, and I love that I can adjust the size of the beam. I plan on keeping one in my car and one at home.
