I love this light. It is very bright and also can zoom in and out. I have many headlights with these features but they all have AA batteries. I haven't used it long but I think it will last a lot longer then the AA ones that I do have now. If you need one light for emergency or some other stuff I think this light will be good because C batteries are readily available here in the U.S. unlike the Chinese rechargeable ones.

Good God, this is a bright a$$ flashlight. It lights up my whole back yard. It clearly illuminates objects at over 200 ft. Super bright in all positions of the sliding beam focus. You will not be disappointed. Buy this light. I have been using it a lot this week to test the 72 hour claimed battery life, and it is still going strong after extended use multiply nights. I am very happy, and will buy 2 more to put in each of my vehicles.

This flashlight worked great when the power went out for us a few weeks ago. It has also made my wife feel very safe while she walks the dog at night. I will warn you that the brightest setting is VERY strong and do not shine in your eyes or your pets please. The dimmer settings and strobe are easy to navigate through and help when trying to look for things while not blinding your helpers.

The Loggerhead comes with standard alkaline C batteries. These are built to be rugged, old-school, and reliable. The advantage is the RUN TIME. Which is over 72 hours long!

So, you don't recharge this one. But it runs much longer than others, is simpler, and has a longer shelf-life.
